Prerequisites

Chapter A

1. Download and Install ODBC driver for Microsoft Access 2010 from this address

( download x32 version - This is mandatory to set up before installing Quizoodd Pro or Quizoodd Viewer )

2. Download and install ODBC driver for Microsoft VisualFoxPro from this address

( only for Quizoodd Pro / this is not required for Quizoodd Viewer )

( This is mandatory to set up before installing Quizoodd Pro )

Reinstall this driver only if you remove it accidentally.

3. Check if you have Flash Player 11 or greater installed ( This is required only by Quizoodd Viewer )

4. Download utility < File Checksum Integrity Verifier > [ fciv.exe ] from the following address

This is necessary to validate CRC after you download resources about Quizoodd

( Microsoft File Checksum Integrity Verifier )

This is OPTIONAL !

5. Check your codepage to see if you have the value 437. ( command CHCP )

If you don't set up the codepage 437 then you cannot use the following products:

demo_quizoodd.accdb ( included in Quizoodd Viewer setup ) and user_quide_quizzes.accdb.

6. Download and install MyODBC 3.51 ( ODBC for MySQL ) to support evaluation through Internet ( before purchasing ) for any Quizoodd commercial ACCDB products. There is no need for internet connection for any commercial Quizoodd ACCDB product purchased.

Any free Quizoodd products requires a valid connection to internet.

Reinstall this driver only if you remove it accidentally.

Functions ( as a result of MyODBC driver ):

When you see a reference to [ USB ] below please understand "storage device inserted into interface named USB ".

6.1 - You may register through Internet the database named < License_trial.accdb > with Quizoodd Viewer.

License_quizoodd_pro_trial_version

( Updating automatically to your folder Qtree from USB storage device used for registration [ instead of using email procedure ! ] )

6.1a - Internet activation requires the following :

- valid connection to Internet

- sending to gridnet.ro informations about : IP external WAN, USB name, USB s/n, USB size, User name, Use email ( collected automatically )

( This procedure requires confirmation [ yes ] from user )

6.2.- This is a special service ( supplementary ) available only with a subscription for every software ID allocated to Quizoodd commercial products ( .accdb )

6.2.a - With this function any Quizoodd commercial database could be evaluated only once per every ID USB storage device you have

using Internet activation ( available only within Quizoodd Viewer ). Internet activation requires the following :

- valid connection to Internet

- sending to gridnet.ro informations about : IP external WAN, USB name, USB s/n, USB size

There is no need to register with [ User name ] / [ User email ]

( This procedure requires confirmation [ yes ] from user )

6.2.b - Any client of Quizoodd Pro ( commercial version ) could register his Quizoodd commercial products on gridnet.ro using a subscription

6.2.c - This function is not available for Quizoodd Pro - Trial version

( This software - MyODBC 3.51 - is required only by Quizoodd Viewer )

( This is mandatory to set up before installing Quizoodd Viewer )

Chapter B

Quizoodd setup

1. Download file LICENSE_TRIAL.accdb to start your trial experience with Quizoodd.

This database is included into setup kit for Quizoodd Viewer.

You could register it with internet connection and launch Quizoodd Pro ( trial version )

2. Download setup for Quizoodd Pro ( with update for Windows 10 )

Observation :

There is no need to have an internet connection with status < ENABLED > before launching

into execution or during operating with this application !

( Exception : only if you desire to activate connection with Microsoft OutLook to transfer into Outbox emails generated automatically )
